Marche-en-Famenne, a town of character, boasts a rich cultural heritage. A gourmet to the core, the town offers specialities such as Matoufé (a regional dish made from lean bacon, eggs, milk and flour) and Wasté (a crown-shaped raisin cake that has been eaten in Marche for centuries!), all accompanied by a good local beer.
